Review of Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Pan/Egg Pan Skillet

This was actually bought either by my wife or as a gift to her but I’m going to review it anyways.

Tamagoyaki is a kind of Japanese omelette. It differs from a regular omelette in that it is rolled while cooking into many layers, resulting in a wider variety of textures compared to a traditional omelette. The square shaped pan facilitates this rolling process moreso than a circular one.

We have had this pan for 8 years now, my wife just used it today and it still works fine. I can also confirm that is does work fine on an induction stove. The product claims it is dishwasher safe but I don’t put it in the dishwasher, I am a little wary of putting non-stick cookware in the dishwasher.
